As a native English speaker with over 10 years' experience in senior roles at the University of Cambridge's English language exam board, I have both the expertise and passion to improve the accuracy and clarity of almost any written text. I was born and lived in the UK for more than 40 years, before relocating to Denmark with my Danish husband and our family. I have degrees in English and Shakespeare Studies.
Whether I am proofreading a highly technical PhD, or copyediting a marketing brochure, my approach is the same - to ensure the text is grammatically correct, the meaning clear and easy to understand, and the language credible and authentic. With academic work I have experience proofreading and editing research from scientific, technical, social science and humanities disciplines. In business I have worked for a range of industries from technology, banking and finance to education and the Arts.
